More about ESC:
ESC is a charitable nonprofit organization that provides management consulting services exclusively to other nonprofits in RI and MA. All of our consultants are volunteers, which allows us to offer our services at an affordable rate. We were founded in 1982 and have more than one hundred consultants who share their expertise and experience with nonprofits, including charter schools, public schools, private schools, and pilot schools.
ESC serves as a capacity building catalyst that enables nonprofits to deliver quality services, enhance communities, and compete effectively in today's market place. Quality and affordability are the hallmarks of ESC - they are the dual principles on which it was founded. ESC's mission is to improve the quality of life in the communities it serves by enabling nonprofit organizations to operate more efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of their constituencies. ESC accomplishes this mission by providing consulting services by volunteer executives and professionals drawn from the corporate, public and nonprofit sectors. In support of these goals ESC provides ongoing training for its consultants so they can offer the latest thinking and best practices for the nonprofit sector. ESC also operates a free viewer access website, NewEnglandJobs.org, that presents the region's most comprehensive and highly-regarded classified advertisements section for nonprofit employment.
